S Korea: BTS Reunites for Massive Concert in Seoul

BTS, 서울 대형 콘서트로 완전체 재결합

"It's been a long journey, but now we're finally here."

K-pop fans around the world have been waiting for this moment.

The chance to see BTS perform together for the first time in almost four years.

"There's never been a music event of this 1scale in Gwanghwamun Square, and you can see just how many people are here for the concert. It's an amazing 2feat that they've 3pulled off here. Seoul authorities 4predict that over a quarter of a million people showed up to this public concert, and only a 5fraction of them actually have tickets. So a 6majority are just standing as close as possible to the square to hear BTS."

The group 7was on hiatus while completing their 8mandatory military service in South Korea.

That makes this comeback a 9defining moment for BTS and their 10dedicated fans, known as ARMY.

BTS performed some of their iconic songs, 11riding the wave of their new album 12release.

Thousands of police were brought in for this event, as well as 13sniffer dogs and SWAT teams.
