To put their uniform on for the first time, that's one of the most 1joyous experiences we see. 2Poverty is a 3tremendous 4barrier to girls' education, and a uniform is typically one of the more expensive pieces. They can be one of the most 5cost-effective ways to keep girls in school. So the name is ‘Style Her 6Empowered’. We go by SHE. And today, SHE is a 7nonprofit that creates 8sustainable education and 9employment opportunities for girls and women around the world.
Today, when a girl enters our program, she not only receives a new school uniform, but she receives a full tuition 10scholarship, full year of school supplies, and a 11year-round tutoring from our local staff.
After we provided our first round of uniforms, we realized our students were 12outgrowing them very quickly. So that was where the uniform that grows was born. It grows six sizes and up to 12 inches in length. It 13adjusts in various parts of the body to provide a 14well-tailored fit.
We 15employ 20 16seamstresses in Togo. We 17intentionally hire women from low-income, low-education backgrounds who haven't had the opportunity to go to school 18previously. We guarantee salaries 19on average 75% higher than minimum wage. We provide three-month paid 20maternity leave, 21unlimited 22sick leave, and kind of a whole host of 23benefits that 24ensure that women in the workplace can 25thrive.

여학생들이 처음으로 교복을 입는 것은 우리가 보는 가장 기쁜 경험 중 하나입니다. 가난은 여학생들의 교육에 큰 장벽이 되고 있으며, 교복은 일반적으로 가장 비싼 품목 중 하나입니다. 교복은 여학생들이 학교에 계속 다닐 수 있는 가장 비용 효율적인 방법 중 하나가 될 수 있는데요, 그래서 저희 이름은 '스타일 허 임파워드'입니다. 우리는 (짧게) SHE라고 부르죠. SHE는 전 세계 소녀와 여성을 위한 지속 가능한 교육과 고용 기회를 창출하는 비영리 단체입니다.
오늘날 한 여학생이 우리 프로그램에 입학하면 새 교복을 받을 뿐만 아니라 학비 전액 장학금, 1년치 학용품, 현지 직원으로부터 연중 과외를 받을 수 있습니다.
저희는 첫 번째 유니폼을 아이들에게 제공한 후 그들이 매우 빠르게 자란다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 그래서 스스로 길이가 자라자는(조절이 가능한) 유니폼이 탄생했습니다. 6가지 사이즈로 최대 12인치까지 길이가 늘어납니다. 신체의 다양한 부위에서 조절이 가능하여 맞춤형 핏을 제공합니다.
토고에서 우리는 20명의 재봉사를 고용하고 있습니다. 의도적으로 학교를 다닐 기회가 없었던 저소득층, 저학력 여성을 고용하고 있죠. 저희는 최저임금보다 평균 75% 높은 급여를 보장합니다. 또한 3개월 유급 출산 휴가, 무제한 병가 등 여성이 직장에서 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 복리후생을 제공합니다.
