The head of Brazil's Aviation Accidents Agency says according to a 9preliminary investigation, the crew did not send any emergency 10maydaycalls 11prior to crashing. 

Dramatic videos show the plane falling from the sky. 

"The icing is really 12suspect to me, because that would have added so much weight to the aircraft, the ice just continues to build on the wings and the propellers and everything. It just gets so heavy that it literally starts to fall and 13stall out of the air." 

Flight tracking data shows it dropped 17,000 feet in just one minute. 

Investigators have recovered the two black boxes on board and sent them to a lab to 14analyze. Authorities so far have recovered more than two dozen of the 62 bodies of those who were killed. 

"Because of how the plane crashed, there is less damage in the front. So it was not as difficult to remove those first bodies." 

The President of Brazil has 15declared three days of 16mourning for the victims.
